Guide to setting up Norton Security 2005 Firewall for WinMX

Double-click the Norton Internet Security icon in your systems tray.
Click Personal Firewall.
Click Configure.
Select the Programs tab.
Locate WinMX from the programs list [Note: If WinMX is not on the list skip ahead to Step 9].
Click the Internet Access setting.
Select Permit All.
Click OK.
Click Add.
Select the WinMX folder [Note: Default location is C:\\Program Files\WinMX\].
Select WinMX.exe
Click Open.
From the dropdown list, select Permit.
Click OK.
Click the Internet Access setting.
Select Permit All.
Click OK.
