1. Open Nero StartSmart
2. Go to the Photo and Video icon and choose either Make a Video CD (VCD) or Make Super Video CD (SVCD). SVCD is better quality.
3. You can either drag and drop the file you want to burn into the following window or click Add to browse for it. In this example I clicked Add and have located the file I wish to burn. Then click Finish to close and Window.
4. Once you have added the file(s) you wish to burn, they will show up in the list. Click Next to continue to the following step.
5. If you would like to customize the look of the menu you can do so now. I will use the default for this example.
6. On the following screen first select your CD or DVD burner, then type in a title for the CD. If you are running a lot of programs at once, you may want to lower the write speed of the CD, as this help prevent buffer overrun errors. Click Burn to burn the CD. If you are converting a file to VCD format this process may take a long time.
