1) Go to Control Pane: Start > Control Panel.
2) Double Click on "Folder Options".
3) Go the "View" Tab and check "Show the contents of system folders".
4) Choose the button that says "Show Hidden Files and Folders".
5) Uncheck "Hide Extensions for Known File Types".
